Monsieur Soleil
As the moon shone over the ground hole
The half lit the whole
It was a clear night
And the stars radiated
The beauty of the night
The barren trees with their colored leaves
Cast eerie shadows on the world around me.
Who am I that awaits the dawn?
A pale figure in the darkness
Awaiting the light patiently surrounded by silence
It’s you I await
The superior fire that illuminates the moon
The magnificent one that luster’s in the sky.
The shadow caster
My energy to exist
I anticipate your coming
The ecstasy of your being;
I await the Sun!

to meet the dawn
Each flower awakes
to greet the morn
The birds fly
into the sky
The butterflies flutter
to meet the cry
The day begins
as each one does
With the cry
of the morning dove.
Awake!
Be free!
Enjoy the love
That each day brings

Too short is life
To waste on regrets,
Dislike and Gloom
Find your bliss
Reach for the stars
Even a minute will
Your day restart
Feeling revived
Even energized
Each time you dream
Becomes easier to achieve
Begin each day
Resolve to smile
Pass it on
It’ll reach a mile
Just like a cold
You can’t help but pass on
A smile will pass
Just like a yawn
You’ll be amazed
When once you gaze
And there you see
A smile, returned, to thee!
